After the pick up times at the hotels, we will go to Boca da Corrida, where you can find a magnificent view over Curral das Freiras and the highest mountains of the island. Following to Cabo Girão, Europe’s highest cliff, to appreciate agricultural development and Funchal’s view. Next stop will be in a restaurant, where will be presented with “poncha “, a typical drink of Madeira. The tour finishes in Câmara de Lobos, seeing the typical fish boats.

From Funchal the jeep goes through Poiso, Ribeiro Frio, to reach the northern side of the Island, where the adventure begins. Mountain tracks take you to the magnificent views of Cova da Roda, Cascalho and Boca das Voltas (near Santana). Lunch is “Espetada” eaten in a picnic style in the mountains (and you may help to cook). After lunch, return to Funchal.

Departure from Funchal/Caniço, early in the morning forwards Ribeira Brava (West) through a nice trail course where we can appreciate the unique landscape of Fanal, Ribeira da Janela, Chão da Ribeira and Seixal. After a meal, we return to Funchal/Caniço at the end of the day.
